FLIGHT LEVELS IN ALGERIA RVSM AIRSPACE

 

North of the Algerian RVSM Airspace

 

All Traffic coming from North, inbound Algeria (Marseille FIR, Barcelone FIR, Seville FIR) must have an ODD Level (290-310-330-350-370-390-410).

 

All traffic going to North, outbound Algeria, must have an EVEN Level (300-320-340-360-380- 400).

 

− West of the Algeria RVSM Airspace

 

All traffic coming from West (Casablanca) must have an ODD FL (290-310-330-350-370-390-410).

 

All traffic going to West must have an EVEN FL (300-320-340-360-380-400).

 

− East of the Algerian RVSM Airspace

 

Traffic coming from East :

a) MORJA- DIMAO-TBS-DAFRI : traffic must have an EVEN FL (300-320-340-360-380-400).

b) KAWKA : traffic must have en EVEN FL (300-320-340-360-380-400).

 

Traffic going to East :

a) MORJA- DIMAO-TBS-DAFRI : traffic must have ODD FL(290-310-330-350-370- 390-410).

b) KAWKA: traffic must have ODD FL (290-310-330-350-370-390-410).

 

South of the Algerian RVSM Airspace

 

All traffic outbound RVSM Airspace( Transition Area) must take a CVSM flight level in accordance of the semi-circular rules, including KRIMA fix.

All traffic outbound CVSM airspace inbound RVSM airspace (Transition Area) must have a semi-circular Flight Level, including KRIMA fix.

 

RVSM Airspace doesn’t cover all Algeria FIR, a Transition Area has been created South of the RVSM Airspace.

 

FLIGHT LEVELS IN TRANSITION AREA

 

FL310-FL350-FL390 are strictely forbidden to all aircraft flying with heading between 000° and 179°.0.
